Shifting to a new place...

Navi Mumbai...i never knew such a place exists during my school days.it was like a nightmare for me to shift from a place (Borivli) where i lived for 17 years.i had to leave aside all my childhood memories and shift to a completely new place.Navi Mumbai was like a desert for me.i could see nothing other than dry, marshy land.no trees,no greenery nothing at all in my area.what i could see was many high rise buildings cropped in together competing with each other to be the tallest of the lot.I was shocked to see people staying in such a place for years...
I was always against my Dad who took this step of shifting to a new place.i had nobody around me.i had to leave my best pals who were always besides me during my thick and thin.i couldn't imagine this was happening to me.it took very long for me to adjust towards the alienated environment.most of the time i used to remain aloof or locked in my room imagining what to do and where to go.previously what helped me get out from this mess was my college.i felt a little better passing my time with my new friends, knowing more about the place etc. Thanks to my college friends because of whom i am surviving in this area.
it's been five years now, i have shifted to this new place.everything is still so new to me.i still wish i could get back to my old place in Borivli and get back all my forbidden happiness.
